Early Morning

At around 6 O'clock in the morning, the chirping of birds woke me up. My alarm clock couldn’t wake me up, but the chirping did.

With a tinge of sluggishness, I opened my door. And the moment I saw the light and felt the freshness of the morning, my sluggishness disappeared. Rather, freshness took over.

I looked at the horizon. Sun had just started to rise, and the light all around was not bright. Trees didn't cast a shadow. They didn't feel the need for protecting anyone from its heat.
As I was watching this early morning spectacle, a small bird oozing a lot of energy and creating a passion-filled voice passed by. Other birds exuding the same energy and warmth followed her by showing their exhilarating mood.

Trees were moving their leaves vigorously as if trying to summon birds and showing their desire to play with them. Birds would reciprocate by flying high in the sky and coming down floatingly and touching the leaves.

This play of the nature kept me spellbounded for thirty minutes when I felt that movement in the nature had started to decrease—no more chirping, no more moving of leaves, and no more play.

I looked at the horizon and saw that Sun had risen up fully, and now its light was no more soothing.

I smiled as if I had known the reason behind this change.

Power attracts everybody, but only if it doesn't carry a quality of arrogance :)
